Started from the need for genuine alternatives to standard OTC options
While working as a consultant, my IBS became completely unmanageable. I was afraid to leave my house, afraid to trust my own body. Every over-the-counter solution I reached for left me with reactions that made me feel worse than before.
After a week in the hospital, I left with a commitment: to find real relief without the side effects and tradeoffs of many OTC medications.
The more I talked to people, the more I realized I wasn't alone. Friends with NSAID allergies, others with IBS who couldn't find effective relief, people who simply didn't want to rely on drugs but felt trapped.
I founded Trelli to create effective alternatives to OTC medications. Naturally derived bioactives became our solution—not because we set out to be a "natural" brand, but because we discovered with the right standardizations and bioavailability they could deliver the same relief with fewer synthetics and unwanted reactions.
